Mark Weatherford, Director of the California Office of Information Security, has been named Chief Security Officer of the Year by SC Magazine in their March cover story. In a very nice article and interview Illena Armstrong explores Mark’s accomplishment in Colorado and California.

As we indicated during Mark’s appearance last month on TechLeader.TV, with his boss, State CIO Teri Takai, he has built the strongest state CISO governance model in the U.S. and these accolades from SC Magazine are well deserved.
